Meet Tomiwa Arogundade
MC, Registered Provisional Psychologist
Hi there! I'm Tomiwa, a Registered Provisional Psychologist dedicated to providing compassionate, collaborative, and empowering therapy. I strive to create a safe, supportive space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences while working toward meaningful change.
With over eight years of experience in addiction and mental health, I draw from a range of evidence-based approaches including CBT, ACT, DBT, somatic experiencing, SFT, Gottman Method for couples, and EMDR. I’m passionate about supporting couples and helping individuals navigate life transitions, body image concerns, anxiety, depression, addictions, religious trauma, burnout, shame, relational challenges, binge eating, and racial identity.
As a Nigerian-Canadian who understands what it’s like to navigate multiple cultures, I strive to provide inclusive, affirming, and trauma-informed care that recognizes how systems and identity shape our mental health. I want every client to feel seen, heard, and valued.
Outside of work, you’ll likely find me trying new restaurants with friends, relaxing with a good show, taking a fitness class, or travelling.
